Job Description:

Handle complex construction litigation matters including contract disputes, delay and scheduling claims, lien and bond claims, insurance coverage issues, and related commercial litigation. Represent contractors, developers, owners, and design professionals in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration and mediation forums. Draft and negotiate construction contracts and provide proactive counsel on risk management and project performance. Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial. Collaborate with experts, consultants, and project stakeholders to develop and execute case strategy.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active Texas Bar membership in good standing. 2+ years of construction litigation experience, preferably with exposure to both private and public projects. Strong knowledge of Texas lien laws, bond claims, and construction contract provisions. Proven courtroom and arbitration experience, with excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
