Residential Construction Assistant Project Manager

Residential Construction Assistant Project ManagerA leading residential construction company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who wants to take the next step in their career while working alongside experienced project leaders on high-quality residential projects.



The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager throughout the entire construction process, helping coordinate schedules, subcontractors, budgets, materials, and project documentation to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, homeowners, and internal teams
  • Assist with project schedules, budgets, purchase orders, and change orders
  • Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
  • Track project progress, costs, materials, and schedules
  • Help coordinate subcontractor bids, scopes, and contracts
  • Assist with resolving project issues and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates to leadership
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records
  • Assist with inspections, quality control, and project closeout
  • Communicate effectively with field teams and office personnelQualifications
  • 2+ years of residential construction experience preferred
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with construction software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plusWhat This Opportunity Offers
