Overview Potomac Outdoor Living LLC is hiring a hands-on Superintendent to manage the day-to-day operations of residential outdoor living projects. This role is a true field/frontline leader , critical to maintaining project schedules, site safety, and quality assurance. As the on-site leader, you'll supervise subcontractors, ensure material deliveries, coordinate with project managers, and maintain clear client communication. Responsibilities Supervise all field operations for residential construction projects. Manage daily jobsite activities, including crew scheduling, material deliveries, and subcontractor coordination. Enforce safety standards and building code compliance on all job sites. Maintain site cleanliness, orderliness, and security. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure craftsmanship meets company standards. Communicate regularly with project managers, vendors, and clients. Address issues or delays, promptly providing effective solutions. Document project progress and report updates to management. Administer budgets effectively to allocate resources efficiently while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Provide strong leadership by supervising teachers and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Oversee education administration tasks such as compliance with regulations, reporting requirements, and policy enforcement. Support teaching staff through mentorship, professional development opportunities, and performance evaluations to enhance instructional quality. Qualifications 5+ years of superintendent or construction site management experience. Deep understanding of residential construction, including decks, sunrooms, and framing. Ability to read blueprints and manage subcontractor workflows. Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor field crews. Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA guidelines. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Pay:

$76,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
