Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Grading Foreman to lead field crews on site development projects. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, safely, and to company standards. Duties and Responsibilities :
Supervise and lead grading crews on job sites Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and grade stakes Coordinate daily activities, equipment, and manpower Operate heavy equipment as needed (dozer, excavator, skid steer, etc.) Ensure job site safety and compliance with OSHA standards Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and team members Monitor production, quality, and schedule progress Troubleshoot site issues and adjust plans as needed Minimum Requirements High school diploma, GED, or trade school completion certificate 5+ years of experience in grading/sitework Previous foreman or leadership experience required Strong knowledge of site grading, drainage, and earthwork Ability to read construction plans and grade elevations Strong leadership and communication skills Valid driver's license Comer Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
