  • Lead and grow the Land Development practice.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to Project Managers, Senior PMs, engineers, and designers.
  • Manage staffing, workload balancing, recruiting, and employee development.
  • Oversee project health including budgets, schedules, profitability, utilization, and resource planning.
  • Serve as a senior advisor for technical, permitting, and entitlement-related challenges.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the practice.
  • Participate in proposals, interviews, and strategic planning.
  • Drive culture, accountability, mentoring, and leadership development within the team.
  • Coordinate with other company service lines to identify cross-selling opportunities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in
AEC AND 7
years of Land Development experience (additional YOE can be used in lieu of a degree)
  • Proven leadership experience managing Project Managers and engineering teams.
  • Experience overseeing projects through feasibility, entitlement, design, permitting, and construction.
  • Strong understanding of: ○ Site development ○ Water and sewer infrastructure ○ Stormwater management ○ Erosion & sediment control ○ Municipal approvals and permitting
  • Experience managing financial performance, project budgets, and team utilization.
  • Business development and client relationship experience.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
  • Maryland market experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Existing local developer, municipal, or agency relationships.
  • Experience running a department, office, or practice area.
