Job Description
Construction Estimating Coordinator An established commercial general contractor seeking a Construction Estimating Coordinator to support two senior estimators in our estimating department. This is a full-time, in-office position for an organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Search public and private procurement websites for bidding opportunities. Download, organize, and distribute plans, specifications, and bid documents to subcontractors and suppliers. Solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing. Maintain bid invitation lists and track subcontractor responses. Distribute and track all bid addenda. Prepare and coordinate MBE/DBE participation documentation and other required bid forms. Assist in assembling complete bid packages. Upload and submit bids through electronic procurement portals. Attend prebids and take photos Maintain estimating logs, bid calendars, and project files. Provide administrative and coordination support to two senior estimators to help ensure accurate and timely bid submissions. Qualifications Experience in commercial construction estimating, project coordination, construction administration, or a related field is preferred. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with online bidding platforms and electronic document management is preferred. Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional communication skills and a strong work ethic. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
