Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Construction Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that work is performed in accordance with the contract plans and specs, local building codes, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will also ensure that constructions safety standards are met. Lastly, the Site Superintendent will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the C&N Team, our clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations at the construction site to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Manage and coordinate subcontractors and laborers to ensure timely completion of tasks. Review schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and ensure proper execution. Develop a project site logistics plan and work with the project manager to determine the method and sequencing of construction. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols. Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, including clients, architects, and engineers. Document daily activities and report project progress to senior management. Prepare reports on any issues that arise during construction. Monitor costs, including labor time and material Implement strategies for problem-solving and conflict resolution on-site. Qualifications Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes. In-depth knowledge of construction quality control practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to manage teams effectively. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Knowledge of associated trades. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus Must have reliable transportation. OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred.
