Job Description

Material Coordinator - MHE We are hiring a Material Coordinator (MHE) to coordinate and schedule material handling/lifting device tracking,maintenance, and load tests (i.e., shanks, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct various tasks to include: material handling/lifting device asset tracking; yearly maintenancescheduling; repair orders; data collection; load tests; repairs; and add or delete to the
DEVCOM-CBC
density listing.
  • Be familiar with OSHA, NIOSH, and ANSI standards.
  • Maintain both hard copy files and digital material handling/lifting device asset database to include vitalequipment data (i.e., make, model, year, etc.) and pictures of each asset.
  • Follow all internal and external procedures/SOPs.
  • Understand ARMY and DoD Regulations.
  • Input and track the monthly report from the third-party Contractor and record as applicable.
  • Perform on-site material handling/lifting device inspections and document inspections through internalprocedures.
  • Assist with proper labeling of devices to include: next due date; serial number or identifier; and "Tag-Out" -Out of Order tag.
  • Perform database entry and cataloging within internal database.
  • Follow directions from the Contractor Supervisor and COR while working independently and as a team.
  • Support customer schedules in scheduling repairs and annual requirements.
  • Maintain records for accountability and to an audit standard.
  • Deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customers while working collaborativelyto build professional relationships (i.e., personnel, customers, etc.).
  • Identify safety concerns to the Contractor Supervisor and other required stakeholders.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate files and provide documentation to the COR as applicable.
  • Provide and assist with the required data to the Contractor Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrixof all related matters.
  • Ensure all administrative functions/paperwork are in order relative to receipt documentation, work orders,or internal paperwork are accomplished on time and in the required format.
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail.
  • Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY.Required Experience
  • Minimum of (2) Years of MHE Experience, Associates of Arts Degree, and an active CLASS C Driver's Licenseor
  • Minimum of (4) Years of MHE Experience, High School Diploma/GED, and an active CLASS C Driver's Licenseor
  • Served in the US Military and retained a Logistics - Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in a related capacityfor a Minimum of (3) Years, and an active CLASS C Driver's License.
