Join a Team That Shapes Communities Soltesz is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Engineer to join our growing team in Lanham, Maryland. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful land development projects throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area while collaborating with experienced engineers, planners, surveyors, and landscape architects. What You'll Do As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, including: Preparing site and civil engineering plans for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and public-sector projects Designing roadway, grading, drainage, stormwater management, sediment control, water, and sewer infrastructure systems Developing technical analyses, exhibits, graphics, reports, and supporting documentation Coordinating with project managers, clients, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies Managing project tasks to meet schedules, budgets, and client expectations Supporting multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment Mentoring and training junior engineering and design staff Contributing technical expertise throughout all phases of project development Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in civil engineering and land development design Experience working on projects throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area Strong understanding of site development design, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, sediment control, roadways, and utility systems Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detail Experience with Prince George's County projects is preferred Maryland Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required Why Soltesz?
