Job Description
Overview Construction Heroes is a growing commercial general contracting company specializing in high-quality construction across a range of commercial projects. We take pride in craftsmanship, reliability, and strong teamwork on every job site. We are seeking a motivated Working Foreman or Junior Superintendent to join our team and help lead field operations while actively contributing to project work. Position Summary The Working Foreman / Junior Superintendent will assist in supervising daily job site operations while also performing hands-on work alongside the crew. This role requires strong construction knowledge across multiple trades, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work progresses efficiently and safely Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project timelines and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide work crews effectively Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and safety protocols Enforce company safety policies & OSHA requirements, conduct toolbox talks, while maintaining a safe safe, and organized working environment for all personnel Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required This position is subject to federal contracting & badging requirements that require employees performing this work to be U.S. citizens. Reliable transportation to and from job sites Experience in commercial construction Working knowledge of multiple construction trades including, but not limited to: Carpentry ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tile) Metal framing Drywall installation/finishing Concrete work Masonry Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices in construction site safety management High work ethic with the ability to work hands-on in the field as required Strong communication and organizational skills with experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously Strong leadership skills allowing you to manage small crews and coordinate tasks efficiently Preferred Qualifications Proven experience in construction site supervision or management roles such as a foreman, lead carpenter, or assistant superintendent OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Experience on federal / government construction projects Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and active construction sites Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Join a team that values quality craftsmanship, accountability, and professional growth!
