Job Description

Construction Project Coordinator Mount Everest Construction Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Construction Project Coordinator which requires a U.S. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, business or a related field.
Duties:
Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines. Participate in pre-construction meetings to review project requirements and deliverables. Prepare and submit project proposals, budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports. Prepare project schedules, prepare change orders, and conduct revisions. Determine labor requirements for dispatching workers to construction sites. Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to align cost estimates with project schedules and scope. Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors. Maintain detailed estimation files, cost databases, and historical cost records. Requisition supplies or materials to complete construction projects. Research current market pricing for materials, labor rates, and equipment. Monitor price trends, supply-chain issues, and potential cost escalations. Maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners. Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements. Provide financial forecasting and cash flow projections for assigned projects. Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computer models. Full time - 40 hrs./week. M-F.
