POSITION TITLE
Construction Project Manager
THE POSITION
At this time, we require the services of a qualified professional to serve as a Construction Project Manager. Construction Project Manager will play a critical role in evaluating construction methods through computer modeling, managing budgets and resources, implementing quality control and risk management programs, coordinating construction teams and subcontractors, and integrating advanced technologies such as drone-based inspections to ensure projects are delivered safely, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. The Construction Project Manager will evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness using computer-based models, while preparing budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports. The role includes developing and implementing quality control programs and risk management plans, monitoring project progress, adjusting schedules, and responding to delays, weather issues, or site emergencies. The Project Manager will coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes, oversee procurement and material allocation for timely and cost-effective delivery, inspect projects for environmental compliance, and utilize drone technology for site inspections and progress monitoring to ensure accurate and timely project completion. This position reports to Chief Executive Officer, John Havu.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computer models.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
  • Develop or implement quality control programs that monitors project progress, adjusts schedules as necessary, and reports on project status to senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement risk management plans to minimize potential disruptions.
  • Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies.
  • Coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring all work complies with quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Oversee procurement and allocation of materials, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery.
  • Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Implement drone technology for site inspections and progress monitoring, ensuring accurate and timely project completion.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, business, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Weekly in-state travel will be required.

RATE OF PAY
$79,000 - $80,000 / year (The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.)
