Seeking a Construction Superintendent to join their team in Scarborough, Maine on a long-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to oversee dynamic, high-profile projects locally, while working with a collaborative and experienced field team. What You'll Do as the
Construction Superintendent:
Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality standards are met Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and deliveries to keep work progressing efficiently Interpret plans and specs and ensure adherence across phases of construction Monitor labor needs, forecast schedules, and adjust timelines to stay on track Enforce safety protocols and job site compliance across all contractors and visitors Manage procurement of materials and equipment while controlling costs Report project status to senior management and collaborate to solve field challenges Must-Haves as the
Construction Superintendent:
5+ years of experience as a superintendent or site supervisor on commercial construction projects Proven ability to manage subcontractors and trades with minimal oversight Familiarity with construction schedules, sequencing, and quality control practices Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software platforms Clear communication skills and professional presence on-site Nice-to-Haves as the
Construction Superintendent:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field Experience with ground-up multi-use or industrial developments OSHA training and/or safety certifications
