Job Description
Overview Metro Walls is looking for an experienced Foreman to lead commercial drywall & framing construction crews throughout Maine. This role is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while keeping projects on schedule. What You'll Do Lead and supervise field crews on commercial construction projects. Plan and organize daily and weekly work to maximize productivity. Ensure work meets company quality standards and address issues promptly. Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, General Contractors, and other trades. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules. Monitor project progress and communicate challenges or delays proactively. Train, mentor, and develop crew members. Hold team members accountable for safety, quality, and performance expectations. Promote and enforce safe work practices and company policies. Help control labor costs by minimizing waste, rework, and downtime. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including crew leadership. Strong knowledge of drywall, framing, or related commercial construction trades. Ability to read blueprints and understand construction schedules. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work on active construction sites. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Why Build Your Career at Metro Walls?
