Colasanti is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent who is responsible for the complete understanding and implementation of a projects MEP design from thorough review of plans and specifications, including interfaces with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Fire Alarm and Civil consultants Why Join Colasanti? Work together with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP&FP systems overall project designs, ensuring compatibility and efficiency Review and manage our subcontractors procurement of equipment and other long lead items Inspect subcontractor progress and quality of work for MEP installation. Develop and implement project plan with our project team During the pre-construction phase engage with the project team and develop a site logistics plan(s), build project schedule, review, and edit scopes of work, assist in post-bid reviews, and ensure that scope gaps are eliminated Work with and communicate goals with Owners, Design professionals, and other stakeholders to establish deliverables Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection work Lead and/or actively participate in BIM meetings Review shop drawings for conformity to the project specifications Review MEP&FP designs for constructability issues Track material deliveries to ensure that they meet the project schedule Actively manage subcontractors to ensure that schedule, cost, and quality are maintained Analyze project risk and implement plans to mitigate those risks Document project progress Review all change order requests and assist the Project Manager in assembling costs related to the MEP&FP work Develop and implement project plan with our project team Lead, coordinate and document work among the MEP&FP trades with other project tradesQualifications:
5+ years of MEP Superintendent experience Has a proven track record of success as a MEP manager or a background as an electrical or mechanical project manager/superintendent Detailed understanding of mechanical and electrical components and systems Possess the working competency with the following software: Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project, and general knowledge of Autodesk Products Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organized Excellent communication skills including an excellent command of English (speaking, reading, writing) Knowledge of communicative behavior and lead discussions, negotiations, provide feedback, manage conflicts, and provide a positive, motivating environment for the project team.Benefits:
