A Construction Site Manager runs day-to-day operations on a construction site and controls the short-term schedule on the site. Also performs important quality control and coordinates subcontractors. Often works in cooperation with construction project manager.
We are seeking a bilingual Production Site Manager for our client/partner in Battle Creek, MI 49037. We offer full benefits immediately, PTO and opportunities for growth. Salary is $50K- $63K.
General Responsibilities:
The on-site manager is responsible for the sites daily operations of Effex's contingent workforce and internal onsite team. They are the liaison between the site manager, client, staff and report to the Area Manager/COO.
Duties:
Work closely with client management to understand expectations and meet needs Generate and maintain client reports based on client needs on an as-needed basis Process and submit Weekly Site Analysis Report Maintain staffing levels as required by the client. Ensure client orders are processed and filled timely Maintain candidate & employee database Check candidate references, drug test, and background screenings when required Update and maintain timekeeping system Responsible for all new hires, onboarding, paperwork and training Continual coaching/counseling/training of new and existing employees Provide Instructions on safety, policies, procedures, time reporting, reporting of absences, etc. Conduct facility safety inspections; observe, determine & report unsafe conditions Complete on-the-job accident/injury reports, forward to the HR Manager Direct employees on proper procedure for filing claims; direct to appropriate medical facility if necessary Collect data for time worked and distribute, for approval, to a department. manager Weekly distribution of approved timesheets to payroll department for processing Follow-up on payroll discrepancies Monitor attendance, track tardiness, and absences. Request supporting documentation if required Prepare and deliver disciplinary notices as needed Maintain termination paperwork and prepare Separation Notices (Submit to Corporate HR) Attend client meetings
Strong computer skills. Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet. Ability to quickly learn new systems. Operate with Integrity and Ethics at all times, Proven leadership ability.
