Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking to fill a temporary role for an onsite Construction Superintendent. The job site is at the Selfridge Air National Guard Base in the Harrison Township, MI . Our company is in the process of reconstructing 4.3 miles of the Selfridge Air National Guard Bases' perimeter roadway. We are needing to hire someone who can will be available for the entire duration of the project, we anticipate on-site work beginning September 28 and being on the job until the end of October and then resuming work again in the Spring 2027. You will not be performing the actual construction work, you will be overseeing it being performed, ensuring quality control, and assisting with installing temporary traffic control measures.Duties:
- Ensure that the crew onsite is completing the project as required in the Plans and Specs
- Supervise the work and convey any concerns to the on-site crew
- Install temporary traffic control devices
- Complete Daily Quality Control reports
- Be the Company's liaison to convey any questions or necessary information to the Client's inspector
Requirements:
- Must be available to be on-site while the work is being performed.
- Must be able to transport yourself to and from the job site
- Must have no criminal background and be able to pass a background check for base access
