You are:
A seasoned professional with 10+ years of commercial painting experience, including supervision of crews and coordination with GCs and other trades. Highly skilled in drywall finishing standards (Level 4-5), surface prep, product/system selection, and achieving consistent, high‑end results. Comfortable running multiple jobs, planning manpower and materials, and keeping projects on schedule and on budget.
Strong on communication:
you can talk with tenants, property managers, and owners professionally and resolve issues in real time. Organized, safety‑minded, and able to train and mentor less‑experienced painters and drywall finishers.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and supervise field crews on commercial paint and drywall projects (TI, renovations, repaints, and repairs). Review scopes, drawings, and specs; plan sequence of work, labor needs, and material orders.
Ensure quality control:
prep, finish standards, color accuracy, and punch‑list completion. Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and building staff to minimize disruption in occupied spaces. Enforce safety policies and jobsite cleanliness, conduct toolbox talks, and document daily progress.
Help with field estimating:
walk jobs, identify conditions, and provide input on production rates and durations. Requirements 10+ years of commercial painting; strong drywall repair/finishing background preferred. Prior experience as a lead, foreman, or supervisor. Ability to read plans and specs and use basic technololgy (email, photos, simple apps) for reporting. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to move between sites as needed.
