In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Your leadership will drive project success through meticulous planning, effective team management, and seamless communication with clients, contractors. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects by developing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software. Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost control measures utilizing HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools to ensure financial targets are met. Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with design intent and regulatory standards. Coordinate construction schedule activities, ensuring timely completion of project milestones while managing potential delays or issues proactively. Supervise construction teams on-site, providing leadership in safety practices, quality assurance, and adherence to construction regulations. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or Bluebeam for documentation, progress tracking, and communication across project teams. Ensure all construction activities comply with local codes, safety standards, environmental regulations, and contractual obligations. Facilitate effective project communication by conducting regular meetings with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to review progress and resolve issues promptly. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and daily reports to maintain comprehensive records. Drive project success through strong leadership in managing teams in a construction management role while fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality. Qualifications Proven experience managing mid and large-scale Residential or commercial construction projects with a strong understanding of Michigan Building Codes. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques using Buildertrend or similar tools; ability to develop detailed schedules coordinating multiple phases of work. Proficiency in Project management, visiting job sites daily, applies for permits, plans and design project resources, prepares budgets, monitor progress, and communicates with customers and subcontractors regarding status and schedule of Project Familiarity with construction regulatory compliance including safety standards (OSHA), building codes, environmental laws, and permitting processes. Strong background in managing house remodeling or addition projects involving multiple subs; demonstrated leadership in managing teams on-site effectively. Excellent skills in project coordination software such as Buildertrend; adept at document control and communication tools. Construction site experience is essential; ability to navigate challenging environments while maintaining safety protocols at all times. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
