Job Description
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee the supply and installation of specialty items for commercial construction projects. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong organizational and communication skills. You will manage multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specification. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with General Contractors, Construction Managers, Clients, and Architects to define project specifications. Determine resource needs (labor, equipment, materials) while managing budget constraints. Attend pre-bid meetings and assist with estimating: take-offs, vendor pricing, quote creation, and shop drawings. Validate vendor pricing before contract execution and monitor quote expiration dates. Support sales and marketing efforts alongside the General Manager. Assemble submittals and coordinate physical sample procurement for architectural review. Maintain an organized inventory of commonly used physical samples. Review and respond to change requests with updated pricing. Place orders or coordinate purchase orders with vendors; review and approve invoices. Track shipments, inspect deliveries, and resolve issues with missing or damaged items. Coordinate logistics between warehouse, field teams, and customers. Communicate site coordination needs with other contractors (e.g., power, blocking). Conduct site visits and field measurements when needed.
Provide closeout documentation:
SDS sheets, warranties, maintenance plans, and install warranty letters. Manage punch list and warranty-related work. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial construction project management or specialty item installation. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles. Familiarity with quality assurance and health/safety standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, and Bluebeam is a plus (or willingness to learn). Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.Pay:
