job summary: On behalf of our client, a prominent leader in the industrial and civil sectors, we are seeking a versatile Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $50 million. This role is designed for a leader who can balance high-level strategy with day-to-day operational excellence, ensuring that every project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Working in close partnership with field superintendents and safety leaders, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of hazard prevention while managing all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction. As the primary point of contact for the customer, you will lead consistent owner coordination meetings and maintain transparent communication across architecture, engineering, and subcontractor teams. Your expertise will be critical in establishing project schedules, monitoring performance standards, and managing the comprehensive financial health of each job-including cash flow, profitability, and the mitigation of scope creep. From negotiating accurate subcontracts and change orders to overseeing weekly subcontractor meetings and ensuring compliance with labor agreements, you will act as the central hub for project execution. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can identify risks before they impact the schedule and manage an expeditious, high-quality project closeout. We are looking for a professional proficient in Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Autodesk Build, and Viewpoint Vista. While a background in heavy civil construction is an asset, specific experience within the automotive sector is highly preferred. Manage all aspects of the project to ensure seamless operations and successful outcomes.

Prioritize safe work planning and partner with site safety leaders to identify and correct hazards.

Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and lead owner's coordination meetings.

Establish and maintain the project plan and schedule, setting objectives and performance standards, and monitoring compliance.

Prioritize effective and continuous communication across client representatives, A-E representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Manage financial aspects of the project, including projections, invoice processing, cash flow, profitability, self-perform and subcontractor costs, and ensure alignment with the budget while avoiding scope creep or gaps.

Ensure compliance with applicable Labor Agreements.

Coordinate and oversee weekly subcontractor meetings.

Estimate, price, submit, and negotiate accurate subcontracts and change orders.

Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the project aligned with the plan.
