Christmas Coordinator The Salvation Army USA Central Territory United States, Michigan, Midland Sep 03, 2026

Position Summary:

The Christmas Coordinator is responsible for managing the Christmas kettle campaign and supporting other programs and activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

Respond to inquiries concerning bell ringing

Recruit bell ringers

Establish and maintain the kettle site work schedules, resolve scheduling conflicts, and arrange for contingencies

Assist in the printing/preparing of bell ringing reports and statistics, secure funds for counting as directed

Provide customer service to kettle location

Lead or arrange for daily devotions

Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities:

Drive kettle routes to deliver/pick up kettles, check on ringers and transport ringers as needed

Arrange for placement and collection of counter kettles

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) At least 18 years old; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

1-year informal supervisory experience

Computer Skills:
Certificates and Licenses:

Must have and maintain a valid drivers' license with a chauffeur's endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
