We're looking for a dynamic, creative leader with a background in activities, programming, recreation, or enrichment services to oversee daily operations and bring our Center to life. What You'll Do Program Leadership & Engagement (Primary Focus) Plan, develop, and implement creative, engaging activities and events based on participant interests Organize entertainment, themed events, educational programs, and social activities Collaborate with instructors, speakers, and community partners Promote programs through community outreach and internal communications Serve as liaison to the advisory council and actively gather participant feedback Center Operations Oversee daily operations to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-organized environment Coordinate facility needs, supplies, and maintenance requests Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards Participant Experience Build strong relationships with participants and create a positive, inclusive atmosphere Communicate program schedules and daily activities Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meals and special events Leadership & Supervision Train, guide, and support volunteers Address participant needs and maintain a respectful, engaging environment Reporting & Administration Track attendance, meals, activities, and budget data Conduct surveys and collect feedback to continuously improve programming Maintain accurate records and reports
What You BringExperience Required:
At least 1 year of supervisory experience Experience working with older adults and activity/program planning strongly preferred Background in activities, recreation, adult education, or creative arts highly desired Education High school diploma required Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) preferred Coursework in Activities Professional, Recreation, Program Management, or Creative Arts is a plus Skills & Strengths Creative thinker with a passion for planning engaging programs Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Customer service mindset with a positive, energetic approach Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce a plus) Additional Requirements Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Ability to lift up to 40 lbs CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Food Safety/ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) Why Join Us? QUALIFICATIONS
: High School Diploma (Required). Associate's, bachelor's degree, and/or equivalent work experience Preferred education or course work related to Activities Professional, Program Manager, Adult Education, or Creative Arts (Preferred). : Minimum 1-year supervisory experience is required. Must have knowledge and skills working with the older adult population. Experience with development, implementation and coordination of programs preferred.
