JOB SUMMARY
The Support Services Site Manager oversees the daily operations of The Professional Group's Support Services Division, ensuring the successful execution of specialty cleaning services including commercial floor care, carpet cleaning, hard floor restoration, power washing, post-construction cleaning, and emergency response services. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for managing employees, projects, equipment, customer relationships, and operational performance while ensuring quality, safety, and profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operations Management Lead and manage the daily operations of the Support Services Division. Schedule technicians, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient project execution. Oversee labor, project costs, equipment utilization, and inventory to maintain profitability. Support emergency response services and after-hours projects as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Specialty Cleaning Operations Oversee and provide technical expertise in floor care, carpet cleaning, hard floor restoration, commercial power washing, post-construction cleaning, and specialty cleaning services. Evaluate project requirements and determine appropriate cleaning methods, equipment, chemicals, and staffing. Provide hands-on support during complex projects and ensure equipment is properly maintained and safely operated. Leadership & Customer Service Recruit, train, coach, and supervise Support Services Technicians. Conduct performance evaluations, corrective action, and ongoing employee development. Build strong customer relationships through regular communication, site inspections, and prompt resolution of service concerns. Ensure all work meets contract specifications and company quality standards. Safety & Administration Promote compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and client requirements. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations. Complete payroll approvals, schedules, inspections, inventory tracking, and operational reports accurately and on time. Maintain regular communication with Operations leadership regarding staffing, project status, budgets, and customer needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Five (5) years of experience in commercial janitorial services, specialty cleaning, facilities maintenance, or floor care operations. Three (3) years of supervisory or management experience. Strong knowledge of commercial floor care, carpet cleaning, restoration, power washing, and specialty cleaning equipment. Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot specialty cleaning equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and mobile technology. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment and travel between customer locations. DET Pay:
