In person Underground Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with a strong background in fiber optic construction, telecommunications infrastructure, outside plant design, utility placement, permitting, and right-of-way coordination . The Engineering Manager will oversee engineering projects and lead a team of engineers responsible for supporting underground and aerial telecommunications construction. Project scopes may include civil utility design, telecom construction design, inside plant and outside plant applications, fiber placement, conduit routing, permit preparation, quantity estimating, project documentation, and review of construction plans and specifications. This position requires someone who understands how engineering decisions impact field construction, permitting, production, customers, and utility placement requirements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reviewing plans, coordinating with internal teams, supporting field operations, and making sound engineering decisions while maintaining company standards.
