Project Manager Sunram Construction, Inc. is a family-owned heavy civil construction company specializing in public park and trail construction, river, stream, and wetland restoration, mass earthwork, and retaining wall projects throughout Minnesota, focusing in the Twin Cities and surrounding area. We are seeking an organized, motivated Project Manager to oversee projects from bid through closeout while working closely with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel. Responsibilities Pre-Construction (Bidding) Solicit quotations from subcontractors and suppliers prior to bid deadlines. Prepare and submit complete and accurate bid documentation. Post-Award / Pre-Construction Negotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure all project scopes, materials, and costs are accounted for. Prepare and submit all required project submittals. Upload and organize project documentation in Fieldwire. Coordinate project startup with field personnel and subcontractors. During Construction Ensure field crews have approved submittals and material information before work begins. Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and engineers throughout the project. Clearly communicate each contractor's scope of work. Manage change orders and contract modifications. Conduct weekly project meetings and participate in owner meetings as required. Prepare accurate monthly pay applications and supporting documentation. Monitor project budgets, schedules, and overall project performance. Assist in resolving field issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Project Closeout Coordinate completion of all punch list items. Assemble and submit all required closeout documentation, including warranties, as-builts, certifications, and final lien waivers. Verify subcontractors and suppliers have been paid accurately and completely. Ensure all contractual obligations are satisfied prior to final project closeout. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience in heavy civil, sitework, park, trail, or environmental restoration construction is preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Fieldwire and construction management software is a plus. Valid driver's license.
