Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that construction projects run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining effective communication. The Construction Office Manager/Bookkeepr will be responsible for supporting project management effectively and responsible for all bookkeeping.
Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely data entry into Quickbooks, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Construction job Costing. Responsible for the billing and invoicing of commercial construction projects. Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Maintain positive vendor relationships Oversee clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records related to construction projects. Assist in team management by facilitating communication among team members and subcontractors. Organize and maintain office operations, including front desk responsibilities and office management tasks. Handle payroll elements for construction staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare reports and documentation as required for project tracking and compliance. Prepare lien waivers pertaining to sub contractors, vendors and clients with direction from controller or executive. Overall executive assistant Qualifications College degree and 5 plus years experience in the construction industry. Quickbooks online experience Spread sheet management and knowledge Proven experience in office management or a similar clerical role within the construction industry. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules effectively Experience in team management, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a collaborative environment. Proficient in clerical tasks with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
