Immediate Need - Construction Sales - Residential & Commercial NOVON Consulting is partnering with a well-established Minnesota construction company seeking Residential & Commercial Construction Sales Talent.
Compensation:
Base salary with generous commissions and exceptional benefits package. We are looking for a high-performing sales professionals to drive growth across residential and commercial construction opportunities. Consultative selling, business development, and client relationship management for a candidate who can generate new opportunities, guide prospects through a complex sales cycle, and partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional building solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of construction, a polished client presence, and the ability to close profitable work across custom homes, post-frame projects, and light commercial or design-build engagements. • Lead the
Sales Process:
Manage opportunities from initial inquiry through discovery, proposal development, negotiation, contract execution, and handoff to production. •
Drive New Business:
Generate and cultivate leads through referrals, networking, community engagement, trade relationships, repeat clients, and strategic follow-up. •
Advise Clients:
Serve as a trusted resource to homeowners, business owners, developers, and decision-makers by helping them evaluate scope, budget, timeline, and project fit. •
Collaborate Internally:
Work closely with design, estimating, project coordination, and field teams to shape practical, compelling solutions that align with customer goals and company capabilities. • Maintain a
Strong Pipeline:
Keep accurate records, forecasts, and follow-up activity while managing multiple active opportunities with professionalism and urgency. • Represent the
Brand:
Promote the company in the marketplace with credibility, responsiveness, and a service mindset that builds long-term trust and referral relationships.
What You Bring:

Sales Success:
Demonstrated achievement in construction sales, new home sales, remodeling, building materials, commercial sales, design-build, or another high-value consultative sales environment. •
Construction Understanding:
Ability to speak confidently about residential or commercial building processes, scopes, materials, and timelines. Experience with post-frame or design-build delivery is a plus, but not required. •
Relationship & Communication Skills:
Strong presentation, listening, and follow-up skills with the ability to build trust quickly and maintain credibility throughout the sales cycle. •
Business Development Mindset:
Comfortable prospecting, creating opportunity, and following through with discipline in a performance-driven environment. •
Organization:
Strong CRM habits, time management, and attention to detail in managing proposals, next steps, and customer communication. •
Professional Presence:
