Associate Project Manager / Construction Coordinator Astro Metal Craft Hanover, MN Launch Your Career in Construction Project Management Are you graduating with a degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field? Are you looking for an opportunity to learn directly from experienced Project Managers while building a long-term career? Astro Metal Craft is seeking an Associate Project Manager / Construction Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, intern, or early-career professional who wants hands-on experience managing custom architectural metalwork projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with senior project managers, estimators, detailers, and production teams to help coordinate commercial construction projects throughout the United States. This role is designed for someone who is eager to learn, organized, motivated, and interested in growing into a Project Manager position. What You'll Do Assist Project Managers with multiple active construction projects Coordinate project schedules, documentation, and communications Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project milestones Review drawings and specifications Participate in project kickoff meetings and progress meetings Communicate with customers, general contractors, architects, and vendors Help coordinate fabrication and installation schedules Maintain project records and files Learn estimating, budgeting, and project cost tracking Support field installation and production teams as needed Develop the skills necessary to eventually manage projects independently What We're Looking For Preferred Qualifications Construction Management degree or currently pursuing one Associate's or Bachelor's degree in: Construction Management Project Management Construction Engineering Civil Engineering Architectural Technology Related field Skills & Traits Strong organizational skills Excellent communication abilities Positive attitude and willingness to learn Detail-oriented and proactive Comfortable working with deadlines Ability to manage multiple priorities Basic understanding of construction drawings is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or project management software is beneficial.
