$90,000 - $110,000/year (based on experience) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee daily field operations for commercial roofing projects. This leadership role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with specifications, timelines, and quality standards. The Superintendent will manage crews and subcontractors, coordinate with project managers and stakeholders, and ensure that all aspects of the job—from materials to manpower—are properly organized and executed. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily operations on commercial roofing job sites to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence Manage multiple crews and subcontractors, providing leadership and direction Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and clients to maintain alignment and communication Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements across all job sites Ensure roofing systems are installed per manufacturer specifications and project scope Monitor job progress, manpower, and material deliveries to keep projects on track Conduct jobsite meetings and safety talks to address field issues and ensure compliance Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and job documentation Perform final inspections and manage punch list completion before project closeout Identify and resolve field challenges to minimize delays and rework Represent the company professionally with clients, vendors, and partners Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of commercial roofing experience, including supervisory or leadership roles Strong knowledge of roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, BUR, and metal roofing Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work Proven experience managing multiple crews and job sites Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to enforce safety protocols and lead by example Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial construction management Prior experience as a Roofing Superintendent or similar leadership role Strong documentation and reporting skills Ability to lead safety meetings and manage jobsite operations effectively Problem-solving skills for managing labor, materials, and scope challenges Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000/year depending on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Critical illness, accident, and hospital coverage options 401(k) retirement plan with pre-tax and post-tax contribution options Voluntary life insurance and AD&D coverage Short-term and long-term disability coverage Health Savings Account (HSA) options Transportation benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid time off, including vacation and sick leave Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Work Environment Primarily field-based role across commercial roofing job sites Active construction environments requiring frequent walking, climbing, and oversight of crews Regular travel to job sites across the region Safety-focused environment with strict adherence to OSHA and company guidelines Fast-paced environment coordinating multiple crews, schedules, and project demands This role offers an opportunity to lead commercial roofing projects from the field, working with experienced teams while driving high-quality results and maintaining strong client relationships. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Mankato, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
