Commercial Roofing Superintendent Position Overview Kato Roofing, Inc. is seeking an exceptional Commercial Roofing Superintendent to lead and elevate field operations. This role requires a disciplined and inspirational leader who drives safety, quality, productivity, and accountability while developing high-performing Foremen and roofing crews. The ideal candidate possesses extensive technical roofing knowledge and a proven ability to manage personnel, equipment, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop Foremen and commercial roofing crews Oversee installation of TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, coatings, and related roofing systems Enforce company safety standards and OSHA compliance Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget Conduct jobsite safety inspections and quality assurance reviews Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, customers, vendors, inspectors, and subcontractors Troubleshoot technical roofing challenges and provide field solutions Maintain project documentation and reporting Manage materials, equipment, and jobsite logistics Oversee warehouse operations, equipment management, and inventory control Support maintenance of company facilities and operations Qualifications & Requirements 5+ years of experience managing commercial roofing operations as a Superintendent, Senior Foreman, or Project Manager Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems and manufacturer specifications Proven leadership and team development skills Strong understanding of OSHA standards and safety requirements Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents Exceptional organizational and communication skills Valid driver's license Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Work Schedule Full-time position Monday through Friday Additional evening, overtime, and weekend hours as needed Regional travel to jobsites required Work Environment & Physical Requirements Combination of office and field work Frequent visits to active jobsites Work in varying weather conditions Prolonged periods working at a desk and computer Must be able to safely access roof surfaces and construction sites Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Compensation Competitive Salary Based on Experience Benefits 401(k) with Company Match Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Company-Paid Life Insurance Paid Time Off Employee Referral Program Professional Development Opportunities Year-Round Employment Apply Today Join a team committed to delivering exceptional service, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
