JOB SUMMARY
This role will be dedicated to a large-scale multifamily renovation project in Minneapolis and will be based on-site each day. The Field Supervisor will work closely with the Project Manager to oversee daily field operations and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. The Field Supervisor is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing day-to-day job-site activities, monitoring quality and safety standards, and maintaining project productivity. This role serves as a key link between the field and project leadership, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, property management, and residents to ensure work progresses smoothly in an occupied, multi-phase renovation environment.
Requirements:
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Supervise and support field crews, ensuring projects are completed according to specifications and deadlines Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations Train, mentor, and evaluate field employees to enhance performance and maintain quality standards Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to streamline operations and resolve challenges Maintain accurate records of project progress, employee performance, and safety incidents Ensure proper use and maintenance of company equipment and tools Assist in scheduling labor and allocating resources effectively to meet project demands Enforce company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations on job sites Communicate updates, concerns, and solutions to leadership, providing recommendations for process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within construction, restoration, or a related field Strong understanding of job site operations, safety standards, and quality control Ability to lead, train, and motivate field teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and field management software Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities
