Job Description

You know what a good site looks like and you know what happens when nobody is watching the details. On this utility-scale renewable project, you'll be the owner-side presence in the field, keeping safety, quality, schedule, logistics, and contractor performance moving in the right direction. What you'll do: You'll work alongside the EPC, OEMs, contractors, suppliers, engineering, and the project team to make sure the work in the dirt matches the contract, drawings, permits, and plan.
You'll:
Walk the site, inspect the work, spot problems early, and make sure safety and quality standards are being followed. Monitor the construction sequence, productivity, crew assignments, materials, equipment, laydown areas, and site logistics. Hold contractors accountable to the EPC agreement without trying to do their job for them. Lead site meetings, coordinate with engineering and suppliers, and resolve the field issues that can derail a milestone. Track schedule risks, procurement delays, equipment deliveries, quality issues, and anything else threatening cost or completion. Lead and mentor the onsite team while building a working relationship with the EPC and other contractors. Document progress, decisions, lessons learned, and issues so the project team always knows what's really happening in the field.
What you get:
$60-$70/hour , a 40+ hour workweek, and a project scheduled through September 2027. If you're traveling for the project, $160/day per diem may apply, along with defined rotation and travel benefits. You'll also be provided a truck and laptop , plus a $50/month cell allowance . For qualifying relocations, mobilization support is available.
Who you are:
You've spent at least 3 years managing construction in the field, with 3-5 years around utility-scale solar or wind . You understand EPC contracts, construction sequencing, safety, quality, and what it takes to keep multiple contractors moving together. More importantly, you're comfortable making the call when something isn't right and you know how to challenge a contractor professionally without creating unnecessary friction. Want to know what project you'd actually be stepping onto? Message me and I'll give you the site details before you decide anything.
