Job Description

Job Summary The Production Superintendent is primarily responsible for crew retention, crew training, recruitment and the quality and safety of the assigned crews.

Duties and Responsibilities Maintain regular and predictable work schedule Provide excellent customer service and reflect the company's core values at all times Visit assigned job sites daily and document progress using Company Cam Enforce company safety programs and conduct weekly toolbox safety trainings Recruit, train, and retain high-quality construction crews Monitor and inspect work for quality; document findings regularly Support crews with technical guidance and issue resolution on site Complete final walkthroughs of buildings to ensure readiness for payment Assist with quoting and estimating billable repairs Support sales with technical building questions as needed Perform other duties as assigned Complies with QSI policies and procedures This job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work performed in this role. Requirements Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of building materials and building process Previous experience as a construction superintendent or Foreman Any combination of job-related experience and/or training, which would produce the required knowledge, skills and abilities QSI provides on-the-job training Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Strong knowledge of building materials and construction processes Ability to supervise and train crews effectively Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail with consistent follow-through Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with basic computer systems and job site documentation tools (e.g., Company Cam) Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with crews, customers, and staff
CDL, OSHA
10/30, and First Aid Certification preferred or ability to obtain Weight & Lift Requirements Must be able to lift and carry light equipment and building materials repeatedly Lifting anything >80lbs requires additional personnel and utilizing a dolly or forklift if possible.
