Engaging Fully Position Overview:
The Steel Erection Planner (St. Louis-based; Minimal travel) is responsible for providing schedule, erection sequencing, logistics, and equipment selection on steel erection scopes for pursuits and awarded projects. Ability to create the project start-up guide & quality assurance program. Capability to help read and build a 1-2 month look ahead work schedule. Scheduling of labor, materials, equipment and is knowledgeable on EWM procedures. Experience with the purchase of project construction materials. Read and understand contracts with both owners and subcontractors. Develops and maintains relationships with owners, engineers, craft workforce and other contractors. Participates in project planning meetings. Sets sequence and directions for field and subcontractor work forces. Ability to assist PM on estimating change orders. Ability to prepare and sequence site logistics within budget and schedule restraint. Foresees and mitigates schedule conflicts with subcontractors and self-performed work.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 10+ years of experience in the construction field as a Supervisor. Expertise with self-perform steel erection scopes of significant size. Corresponds through and is proficient with Microsoft suite applications, in addition to familiarity with Primavera and Procore. Alberici is a North American company with multiple
