Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Process Coordinator to join our team at Summit Homes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-construction & warranty process, ensuring that construction runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of process operations, troubleshooting skills, be familiar with reading floor plans and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment for Home Building industry. This position requires occasional construction site visits and other local travel. Responsibilities Pre-Construction Project Manager Manage and facilitate the process of permitting each project. Document all steps of the process through Order and evaluate plot plans in collaboration with civil engineers, operations dept, and sales. Prepare all project documentation for city submittal and ensuring timely delivery. Follow up on city comments and permit retrieval. Review plans for additional change orders post permit issuance. Prepare field packets for construction. Warranty Process Coordinator Monitor and control warranty processes to ensure optimal performance and quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the warranty process. Collaborate with purchasing, controls, and production teams to implement process improvements. Document warranty data and maintain accurate records of operations. Train new employees on standard operating procedures and protocols. Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred. Strong software aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to read floor plans and site plans Comfortable managing & tracking multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with quality control standards and construction regulations is highly desirable. team player - ready to learn and jump in to help on any project
