Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily concrete paving operations, including labor, equipment, and materials. Plan, schedule, and sequence paving activities to meet project deadlines and production goals. Monitor concrete quality, slump, air content, finishing standards, cure timing, and compliance with all project specifications. Oversee slipform paving, stringline/stringless operations, and finishing processes to ensure uniformity and smoothness. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, survey/GPS technicians, subcontractors, and inspectors to ensure smooth and timely execution of work.Desired Experience:
5+ years of experience in a supervisory or superintendent role overseeing concrete paving crews on large highway, airports, etc. Strong understanding of DOT standards, concrete mix designs, QC/QA practices, and environmental regulations. Able to read and interpret job plans, specs, drawings, and contracts. Strong knowledge of slipform pavers and supporting machinery.Compensation:
Salary range $140- 160k based on experience.
