Join a highly-reputable GC known for tackling high-profile, large projects Excellent internal culture that fosters long-term employment / growth About Our Client Our client is a full-service General Contractor/Construction Manager that has been in business for over 30 years. This company, which is experiencing consistent growth, is renowned in the Southeast market with regards to their bread-and-butter project types - Hospitality, Large Commercial, and Federal. Here, team members are valued beyond the projects, which contributes to the strong company culture. Overall they are a mid-sized firm but have the structure and ability to offer completely competitive salary and additional benefits. They are also well-known for maintaining a very friendly, personable internal atmosphere while still offering the opportunity to manage large projects. They are headquartered in Mississippi, however have operations across the Southeast and Virginia. This role allows the right candidate to operate on a traveling basis with company-paid trips home monthly OR have their relocation expenses covered. Job Description Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are executed efficiently and to specifications. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to maintain schedules and budgets. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times. Oversee the quality control process to ensure construction standards are met or exceeded. Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction promptly and effectively. Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment allocation. Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. The Successful Applicant Extensive experience in construction management, with a focus on site supervision. Strong ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards in construction. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in busy environments. Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide and motivate teams. Willingness to travel as required by project locations.
