This role offers the opportunity to lead teams across various locations, per diem , daily site pay, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and a deep understanding of structural steel systems, technical drawings, and construction management software. As a pivotal leader on our team, you will coordinate multiple projects, manage crews, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction teams at multiple off-site locations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols. Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction schematics to guide fabrication and installation processes. Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid to ensure timely project delivery across all sites. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain seamless workflow and communication throughout project phases. Oversee quality control measures, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Monitor project budgets, perform construction estimating, and manage contracts to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency. Utilize construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, progress tracking, and communication updates. Ensure all work aligns with construction regulations, safety standards, and client specifications while supervising the review of construction drawings and schematics. Facilitate crew management by supervising daily operations, managing personnel schedules, and conducting performance evaluations. Lead safety meetings, enforce OSHA compliance policies, and implement best practices for construction safety management on all sites. Qualifications Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial or heavy industrial construction projects involving structural steel. Strong background in construction site supervision with a focus on steel fabrication and installation. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Primavera P6; familiarity with HeavyBid is a plus. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately. Experience managing contracts, budgets, and project estimating processes effectively. Knowledge of federal safety regulations including OSHA standards; experience implementing construction safety management programs. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across multiple locations. Skilled in using construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation purposes. Ability to read blueprints accurately and supervise quality control measures during fabrication and installation phases. Hands-on experience with construction site activities including supervision of crews in steel erection environments.
