Job Description A well-established, family-owned construction company in Madison County is seeking a Business Development Manager to help drive continued growth and identify new opportunities across multiple construction markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, relationship-focused professional who understands the construction industry and enjoys connecting with people, developing new business, and identifying opportunities. What You'll Do Build and maintain relationships with project owners, clients, developers, engineers, architects, and other industry professionals. Identify upcoming construction, industrial, infrastructure, and development opportunities. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential projects and business opportunities. Generate new opportunities through networking, referrals, industry events, and relationship development. Meet with prospective clients to understand their needs and identify potential solutions. Partner with estimating, preconstruction, and project management teams to evaluate and pursue opportunities. Assist with proposals, presentations, and client communications. Represent the company professionally throughout the business and construction community. Stay informed about market activity, upcoming projects, and industry trends. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, construction, project management, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of the construction industry and project lifecycle. Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills. Experience or connections within construction, industrial, civil, engineering, development, or related industries is a plus. Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable creating new opportunities. Strong organization, follow-through, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus. Willingness to travel locally and regionally for meetings, networking opportunities, and industry events. Why This Opportunity? $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
