Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role combines hands-on construction site management with strategic project coordination, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard construction management software. Duties Lead daily on-site operations, supervising construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications. Coordinate project schedules using BuilderTrend or other project management tools to maintain momentum and meet deadlines. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflow and effective communication across all project phases. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify compliance with design intent and contractual obligations. Utilize construction estimating tools to assist in budgeting and cost control efforts. Oversee project documentation using construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for accurate record-keeping and reporting. Monitor progress through regular site inspections, ensuring work aligns with project plans, schematics, and specifications. Facilitate project meetings, coordinate schedules, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track. Implement safety protocols and conduct site safety audits to maintain a secure work environment for all personnel. Manage change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other contractual communications efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction documentation. Proficiency with BuilderTrend, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, ProCore, , Primavera (P6), HeavyBid, and other construction management software tools. Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, cost estimation, and project coordination across multiple teams. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage subcontractors effectively. Excellent time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and contract administration is highly desirable. Valid experience working on active construction sites with a focus on safety compliance. $89,700.08 - $110,000.00 per year
