Construction Superintendent

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Roofing Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various roofing systems and techniques, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing installation, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Responsibilities Supervise installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles. Conduct thorough inspections of roofs to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Supervise roofing projects to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Schedule project timelines effectively to meet deadlines while managing resources efficiently. Collaborate with team members and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including materials used and project progress. Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and practices to ensure a safe working environment. Utilize software tools such as Acculinx and Excel for project management and documentation. Execute small repairs as assigned Manage material sourcing and delivery for all jobs in area Requirements Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety regulations (OSHA). Experience with project scheduling and budgeting is preferred. Ability to supervise teams effectively while ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required. Ability to regularly lift heavy 50-100lb objects, climb ladders and work on roofs.
