We're looking for a driven and client-focused Senior Construction Manager to support a major aerospace client on high-profile capital construction programs in the greater Wichita, Kansas area. In this role, you'll provide onsite leadership for multiple mid- to large-scale facility projects within an active manufacturing environment. Working closely with client stakeholders, contractors, and project teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead onsite construction execution for capital improvement projects.
  • Coordinate activities between client stakeholders, designers, contractors, and project teams.
  • Monitor contractor performance, safety, quality, schedule, and contract compliance.
  • Conduct site walks, construction meetings, and progress reviews.
  • Manage field-related issues, RFIs, change orders, and construction risks.
  • Review project schedules, reports, budgets, and contract values.
  • Provide oversight of all craft trades and construction activities.
  • Support planning and pre-construction efforts through constructability reviews and execution planning.
  • Build strong client relationships and mentor junior team members By building strong, trust based relationships with the client and project teams, you will contribute directly to the success of both the client's capital program and Jacobs' continued growth in the aerospace sector.

Here's what you'll need Bachelor's Degree Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration with related experience. 10+ years of experience on facility capital improvement projects, particularly within manufacturing and assembly facilities. Knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, project delivery systems, and manufacturing facility capital projects. Skilled in Microsoft business applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. Valid drivers license with good driving record.

Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification, or Professional Engineer (PE) license #WestPMCM #LI-CS1

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $124,500.00 to $200,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
