We are looking for YOU! This position is located onsite in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Candidate must be willing/available for overnight travel to job site Monday-Friday if not local to Ridgeland area. As Superintendent, you will provide oversight and evaluation of the performance of Assistant Superintendents to ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures. You will be further responsible for field oversight and implementation of quality of work standards and safety and management practices as well as established company procedures. You will also serve as a reviewer of the entire process of multi-family residential construction from schematic to project completion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Evaluate projects and effectiveness of policies and procedures to improve quality and effectiveness of work, and personal development of subordinates. Collaborate across the organization to ensure all parties are properly informed of schedules, have the necessary tools to perform, and help ensure construction needs are met Develop a relationship of trust with the client and foster an environment that is conducive to continued business opportunities. Manage projects that produce acceptable return on investment. Review Superintendent weekly reports to obtain current summary of project status. Review cost reports and schedules with project manager to monitor cost and time to see if there are improvements to be made. Develop management and administrative processes to provide a standard of Superintendent activities to be used by Superintendents across the company. Ensure that all warranty is being proactively monitored and completed within acceptable timeframes. Ensure that all QA/QC practices are adhered to throughout the duration of the project
REQUIREMENTS 5
years construction field management experience and with an emphasis on multi-family residential housing construction Knowledge of multi-family construction methods and materials Knowledge of industry methods of scheduling, contracting, cost reporting, safety, and quality Ability to understand the technical aspects of construction Working knowledge of NPDES regulations Ability to manage, coach, lead and train subordinates manage multiple team members Expert knowledge of computer programs including spreadsheet, word processing, and project scheduling Excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with a vast number of people with varying backgrounds Ability to maintain a continuing education program to attain knowledge of current industry practices Strong knowledge of MS Software applications Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license 5 years construction field management experience and with an emphasis on multi-family residential housing construction REWARDS We recognize everyone has different needs outside of work.
