Job Description:
Pre Construction Manager Assignment Focus:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pre-Construction Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the pre-construction process from initial plan receipt through final bid submission while coordinating closely with estimating, project management, vendors, and General Contractors. The ideal candidate will have construction industry experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Flooring industry experience is highly preferred. Responsibilities Manage the pre-construction pipeline from plan receipt through bid submission Coordinate with the estimating team to ensure timely and accurate takeoffs Prepare and assemble complete bid proposals, including scope clarifications and exclusions Track bid deadlines, statuses, and project outcomes Communicate with General Contractors, vendors, and internal project management teams Organize project documentation and maintain accurate records Support internal teams to ensure smooth project turnover from pre-construction to operations Prioritize multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Desired Skills & Experience Previous construction industry experience required Flooring industry experience preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data organization Excellent organizational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting Salary & Benefits Salary will be commensurate with experience Health insurance - 100% of employee premium paid by the company Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance is available as employee paid benefit 401k with company match Paid time off (PTO)
