Full Job Description Electrical Superintendent Job Description Key Responsibilities Project Oversight:

Supervise electrical installations in commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Team Management:

Direct and coordinate electricians and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and safety.

Planning & Scheduling:

Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress against deadlines.

Quality Control:

Ensure all electrical work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications .

Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve technical or administrative issues on-site.

Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, engineers, and other construction teams to integrate electrical systems.

Documentation:

Maintain records of inspections, progress reports, and compliance certifications. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards Leadership and team management skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Excellent communication and organizational skills Problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure

Typical Qualifications Education:

Associate or bachelors degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or related field (preferred)

Experience:

Several years in electrical construction, with supervisory or foreman-level experience

Certifications:

OSHA safety training, journeyman/master electrician license (depending on state requirements) Work Environment Primarily construction sites , sometimes office-based for planning and reporting Requires long hours, site visits, and coordination with multiple stakeholders Safety gear and adherence to strict protocols are essential Experience and License Requirements Driver's License
