A foreman is a frontline supervisor who oversees daily on-site operations, managing crew members, schedules, and safety protocols to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Act as the link between workers and management, delegating tasks, interpreting blueprints, and enforcing quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision:
Monitoring workers to ensure tasks are completed correctly, safely, and efficiently.
Safety Enforcement:
Ensuring all personnel adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
Scheduling & Coordination:
Creating work schedules and coordinating daily tasks, materials, and equipment.
Task Delegation:
Assigning specific duties to crew members based on project plans.
Quality Control:
Inspecting work to ensure it meets company standards and building codes.
Reporting:
Updating project managers on progress and troubleshooting on-site delays.
