Travelling Superintendent•Commercial & Industrial Location:
High Point, NC Salary:
$95k•$ 130 + Per Diem You show up early. The site is quiet, coffee in hand, plans spread out on the tailgate. Another city, another project, another team counting on your leadership. The Role I am working with a well-known and reputable general contractor that is searching for a Traveling Superintendent to lead projects across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. This is someone who enjoys being in the field, takes pride in running a clean and safe jobsite, and knows how to bring people together to get work done the right way. You are the steady presence on site. You keep the day moving, solve problems as they come up, and make sure everyone goes home safe. Subcontractors respect you because you are fair, prepared, and direct. Project managers trust you because you communicate clearly and stay on top of schedule, budget, and quality. You will travel where the work is, set the tone on each project, and see it through from start to finish. Safety, quality, and accountability are not buzzwords here; they are simply how you operate. What your days look like You lead all field operations on the project. You manage subcontractors, schedules, and daily activities. You own site safety and OSHA compliance. You keep the project organized with clear documentation and consistent communication. You hold weekly onsite coordination meetings. You work closely with the project manager to stay aligned on cost, schedule, and scope. You take pride in maintaining a clean, professional jobsite. You make sure the finished product matches the drawings and expectations. Experience Three to five years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent. Comfort traveling throughout NC, SC, VA, and GA depending on project needs OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications. Basic comfort with technology and tools like MS Office. An open mindset toward learning new systems and processes.
