Commercial Construction Superintendent - Kannapolis, NC (Project-Based, Full or Part-Time) C3 Contracting, LLC is a design-build general contractor in Concord, NC, building custom homes, additions, complex remodels, and light commercial projects. We're looking for an experienced commercial superintendent to lead field operations on a multi-building project at a new private golf club in Kannapolis, starting October-November 2026. This role suits a seasoned superintendent who wants to run a well-defined project close to home without the travel of a large GC. Semi-retired and independent superintendents are encouraged to apply. The Project Multiple new buildings on one site: a clubhouse, a performance center, a maintenance facility, and another ancillary buildings Commercial construction, including concrete, CMU, wood framing, roofing, doors and windows, coordinated MEP systems, interior and exterior finishes A design-build team with direct access to ownership and decision-makers What You'll Do Run daily site operations from mobilization through closeout Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections Maintain quality control, safety standards, and site organization Keep daily logs, photos, and schedule updates in our project management software Walk the site with ownership and the design team as needed Flag issues early and propose solutions What We're Looking For 5+ years of superintendent experience on commercial projects Experience with ground-up buildings; wood framed commercial preferred Working knowledge of NC building codes and the commercial inspection process Comfort with basic technology: a phone or tablet for logs, photos, and schedules OSHA 30 preferred Reliable transportation and a clean driving record Arrangement Full-time or part-time (4 days/week considered) W-2 or 1099 contract
