Join North Carolina State University as the Manager of Contracted Construction and play a key role in shaping the campus environment that supports learning, research, and community. In this dynamic leadership role, you'll guide a talented team of engineers, architects, and project managers while overseeing a varied portfolio of 200+ projects annually, with a combined value of $10-20 million. Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of 7-8 engineers, architects, and project managers, fostering growth, accountability, and collaboration Oversee the full lifecycle of 200-250 projects annually, from planning and procurement through construction and closeout Manage project budgets, contracts, and delivery methods to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope Apply architectural and engineering expertise to solve complex building and infrastructure challenges Ensure compliance with state building codes, SCO policies, OSHA standards, and UNC System guidelines Align project priorities with institutional goals by providing clear communication and leadership across design teams, contractors, and campus stakeholders. Support long-term planning efforts while maintaining focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Analyze and resolve project challenges, implementing creative and cost-effective solutions while maintaining safety and quality standards Stay current with industry trends and best practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, designers, campus partners, and university leadership Support long-range planning efforts and contribute to the overall development and success of campus infrastructure Other Responsibilities Working conditions are in the office and outside around building construction Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs of the organization and evolving priorities. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree related to the area of assignment and two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
